Notes:

  • The inside cover is a letter from IDW Andy Schmidt, explaining his decision to bring back the continuity of the Marvel age. They are picking up where the former title ended.
  • This basically nullifies the continuity of the Devil's Due … Despite the fact that once wrote four shares Hama terrible "Mission was never" in "GI Joe: Frontline." I'm fine with that, since the run Devil Due fan fiction and was essentially a nostalgia kick. The individuals involved were all great fans, so we can not criticize them for their efforts. But for Now, they seem to be the Ripper Owens Larry Hama Rob Halford.
  • Larry Hama answers to some questions from the IDW forum posters on a page of "letters" of sorts. Of note (for me at least), Hama mentions that Carl Barks and the Disney ducks are a favorite of it.
  • Hama is also important that notes the "Joe-verse" held in their own time / space empty. What is a good way to avoid annoying things like "real world" aging or current events.
  • Dr. Mindbender armor upgrades to battle Cobra Commander and gives him a new suit that resembles a CC battle "old front panel of the helmet / eye." Think of the figure original action.
  • Cobra still seems to be working out of Trans-Carpathia "Silent Castle."
  • Baroness has a slightly modified look again. She wears a dark visor, instead of glasses, and his suit is simplified (all lines ribs and contours of his suit leather old cat disappeared.)
  • Storm Shadow returns to a slightly modified version of his original equipment, too. It's basically your original gray suit with shoulderpads added. Billy is Storm Shadow using a white-ish get-up too.
  • Showing his fund-old dental implant Dr. Mindbender also a directive for BWS Bily floss your teeth every day.
  • In a touch of good taste, we see that the Cobra Commander sleeps with half-mask covering the top of his head just after the nose.
  • Cobra Commander Springfields mentions the "new" in the U.S.. Springfield was "one of my favorite concepts from the original series, so I'm glad they are including it.
  • Note that NOT appear Joes. The Cobras mention that you are aware of the team to be disabled, however.
  • Two "sheets" appear on the back of Book. One for Billy and the other for the Brainwave Scanner. Billy mentions that "Fred III" Billy gave a prosthetic leg. VII, however, was Fred. On-Prize Explanation: Error Typing!
  • It is common knowledge now (in 2010), but for the record, this book was distributed as part of "Free Comic Book Day" on May 1, 2010.
  • Sure … I'll keep making updates and adding to this project GI Joe Comic Index. Seem to get lazy when it comes to add non-Joe content, so I should keep them updated on time.
