What can I do about my son of 6 years who wants to play with girl toys?

My son of 6 years, has a room full of cars, superheroes figures action, video games, etc. but he choose to play with a doll or stuffed animal girly look at all the toys of his son. Most of my friends have the girls he grew up playing with more girls than boys. Now that he's in a school, I thought he would have the opportunity to be exposed to more children, but he still chooses to play with the girls. When he starts to pick up a toy at the store, I have to drive you away from the stock girly because they are your first choice. Recently, he started talking about how pretty girl dolls are different, so I'm hoping it's just a crazy girl? Please help!

Well, I can see why your torn. On the one hand, … He's just a kid. So why not let him play with what he wants? On the other hand … If he says he likes to play with barbies … or dolls in school, is likely to be caused by it. And there is always the underlying thought that might end up gay. Not that its quite bad (before I get shunned for saying this) .. but truth is, most parents do not want their children to be gay, even if not later. If it were me, I would sit with him and ask why he likes toys girl. And I would like to label them. If your pink, girly and call it a toy girl. Then if he still feels comfortable playing with them, and I can say I like playing with toys girl and I do not care what other people think. So … support it. Its your life.
