By 1962, a young cartoonist, Stan Lee, came up with an idea for a new superhero comics. During a time when most of our superheroes were adults muscled, young Peter Parker has reached a figure unlikely.
An adolescent – a pimply, gangly short-sighted teenager who hopes to be the last kid picked for sports – Peter Parker was no typical hero. After the successful 2000 adaptation of another comic, the movie X-Men first, expectations were high for Spidey first outing of the big screen. Not one to disappoint, Spider-Man became the first film in history to have $ 100 million in its opening weekend, and the film only ever an deny the first Star Wars movie place at the box office.
The second installment of Spider-Man series did so well, taking $ 88million in its opening weekend and setting a new record for the largest trapped in an opening day in more than $ 40 million. From the look of director Sam Raimi who has every intention of living in accordance with the standards he set for the first two films, and then some. With a budget estimated at U.S. $ 250 million, Spider-Man 3 will be the most expensive movie ever made, beating the previous record of King Kong, U.S. $ 207million by a huge margin.
Spiderman 3 will see the return of Harry Osborn (James Franco), still set on avenging the death of his father. Following the final scenes of Spiderman 2, Osborn will lead the technology developed by his father, the Green Goblin in his mission to kill Spiderman.
Osborn will not be alone in your search. There are rumors that a second villain played by Topher Grace (Mona Lisa Smile, Traffic) will have a piece of the action. Based on a comic book villain of the series, Grace will play Venom, a symbiotic life form that consists of an alien life form and journalist Eddie Brock.
While the main filming the third installment was completed in August 2006, will take months to complete the necessary complex CGI for the movie. In fact, some key scenes were shot once in November 2005 to enable Sony Pictures Imageworks time to prepare the visual effects.
