How do TV networks such as TBS TNT FX can not show new movies relesed on DVD?

I have Dish Network and have some HD channels, but not HBO Cinimax or Encore or how they can show new films, but not TBS TNT FX or any other television station normal i mean movies like TNT is showing spiderman come I saw this movie like 100 times (exaggeration). Can not TV stations just buy it and put it in the air?

Its all about money! This is why TNT, FX, TBS and part of the standard [channel programming is with most cable and satellite providers, and you usually will have to pay extra for channels like HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz .... or because the TV stations have to pay more to air new films.
