Where is that Butler comes in Spiderman 3?

Ok, maybe my memory is not very good. There is a butler in the movie that plays a crucial role in history. (I will not say that for those who have not seen Spiderman 3). He says something like Harry "I always loved you as a child and how to take care of as my own son. "I'm glad that the butler did it B) but please give me more about this subject. It was this man in any of the other films?

Well, I know he was in Spidey 2. He tells Harry "His father obsessed with his work, sir" or something like that Harry and says, "Good night Barnard." Furthermore, the actor playing the butler is Bill (Aliens) Paxtons father in real life.
