It seems you already have a good idea about this. Superman does not need solar yellow to store up power. Need not be our sun, but it has to be a yellow star. However, even with this First, I still believe that Superman would win. Why? Glad you asked. Silver Surfer possesses the Power Cosmic. How many people do not realize how a great power that's it, I will explain some of his many skills. Surfer, essentially, can handle any environment, cosmic energy to their will. Sun yellow, red sun, the green sun, star drawf white, does not matter. He can use them to increase their physical capabilities. In terms of Marvel, he can lift over 100 tons, corresponding Superman. He is almost indestructible, at least equivalent to Superman. He can travel through hyperspace at speeds of bending, making it much faster Superman, and can even travel in time if it travels fast enough. DC has created at least one flash to be able to do so, and Superman can not match the Flash, in terms of speed. The wide range of Surfer's powers allow him to do many, many things. He can transmute matter, which means theoretically, it could turn Superman cape in solid kryptonite if he wanted. Even aboard the Silver Surfer's other beings can absorb & hold them in captivity, ie if Surfer wanted, he could probably capture Superman, upload it somewhere in space, & just dump it off the board. When you get right down to brass tacks, Superman is not even in the championship of the Silver Surfer is.
