Who is doomsday, what are his powers and origin, and how was he able to kill superman?
…..Hi, I dont read comic books its not easy to get them from where I live but I’ve heard about the death of superman and this doomsday guy, can you give me info about doomsday?
Also now that superman is dead is it the end of Superman comic books or are they gonna ignore that he’s dead and make up new superman stories?
How powerful is this doomsday? From your opinions can he also kill the Silver Surfer, Hulk or Thor? ( I know these are Marvel characters )

First of all Superman is not dead anymore. Now let me explain how.
Doomsday was an Kryptonian experiment to create the ultimate lifeform. He went AWOL and went on a rampage on many planets, finally being defeated and buried on Earth. (This was his origin)
The first we see of him in comics is him punching his way out of the ground. He goes on a rampage heading toward Metropolis. He defeats the JLA. Superman joins the fight and it’s to a standstill. In the end, it’s a fight between the two in front of the daily planet. They kill each other with simultaneous blows. (I’ve heard that Doomsday was able to kill Superman due to poison in the rock like protrusions on his body.)
After a brief period of other people claiming to be Superman, the real Superman returns with a mullet no less, defeating Mongul who is attacking Earth at that time.
Doomsday is very powerful and was resurrected. As far as could he beat Silver Surfer, Hulk, or Thor? Well, not much to go by as far as power comparison. IMO, Doomsday might be able to take down the Hulk, come to a standstill with Thor, and lose to the Silver Surfer.
