Silver Surfer Shorts

Fantastic Four 2…?
Was one of the shortest (so called) big movies that I have seen for a while….
but that was probably a good thing… couldn’t take much more!!
…but the special effects (Silver Surfer) were great…. but its certainly no Spiderman…
The silversurfer has been my all time favorite marvel character since I was a kid. I bought all 17 comics when they first came out (1968?). So I’ve waited about 40 years to see the Silver Surfer on the big screen.
Overall I thought the Fantastic Four II was a bit boring and lame. It was the Silver Surfer who saved the Fantastic Four.
The wedding and all the fan idolotry, especially of Johnny Storm, was totally unnecessary. The fantastic car was good, but it shouldn’t have split up in four sections. The Thing was O.K., but they should have done a lot more with him, probably spent the entire SFX budget on the Surfer. I always enjoy the cameos by Stan Lee.
Dr. Doom was cool and I’m glad they brought him back. They should give Dr. Doom his own movie, nothing wrong with a villian having his own flick?
I really hope FF3 will be a lot better.
