which stores to shop at school? he is in the surfer / skater look?

I'm 20 and my brother 12 years is starting jr high in August. I want him to be able to be trusted friends and to facilitate and do not want him looking like a nerd. where are some stores to take you shopping at? i took silver fast and got some shorts and shirts. he really liked the things there. what other stores have similar styles? well, it would not be a poser because he does both. I'm not asking how to dress him like one I'm wondering where they sell surfer and skater brands. he started talking like the solid color shirts with dark drawing on the side.

Many stores sell this type of clothing: Rip Curl, Billabong and Vans are the only ones I can think of that are all over the world, it really depends on where you live. Living in SoCal, I usually get my clothes I can find any surfshop, and Stewart, Fluid Surf n 'Sport, and other places like that. Just keep your eyes peeled for surfshops and skateshops.
