Could you advise an old Silver Surfer?

My son, who has learning difficulties, this was an MP3 player.Now he wants me to transfer many of its cd's he saw my problem is laptop.My if I can, so I can erase all your songs on my hard drive? (Any advice is welcome, but please, keep it simple).

yes, no problem. But if they are not having much space you need not remove them? Bet you has a lot of space on your computer yourself.
