Silver Surfer Life Size
Anybody know anything about those Giant Silver Surfer displays at the theatre?
I ask because one of my kids is obsessed with SS, and my other son is obsessed with Spidey. We already have the giant life size Spiderman Blockbusters raffled off a few years ago ( which, btw, when you half asleep and you get up to potty at 3 am.. scares the HECK out of you) I wanted to try to win or buy one of these displays for my other son, but there is none on eBay, I can’t even find a blurb about it anywhere on the net. I wonder if they will be raffled off, or sold..
Ask them at the theater if they plan on selling it. Alot of times if you want one of them they are already given away (when they are done with it) or sold. After they are out of the theater you have a better chance of finding one on e-bay. Im not sure where you can get one now… but maybe try a comic shop… they have alot of that weird stuff that you cant find anywhere else. For future reference, as soon as you see something hanging up in a theater you want ask for it. Most of these items are first come first serve (and they have no need to keep it if they are not promoting the movie) so if you get to them first they put your name and phone number on the back and call you as soon as it comes down and you have a week to pick it up.
