Silver Surfer Issues

Which Ultimate X-Men issue does Jean Grey meet the Silver Surfer?
I’ve been reading the Ultimate X-Men series and I just got extremely confused reading between Ultimate X-Men Vol. 18 and 19. It’s like there’s info missing between each volume, like at the end of 18, Jean turned into the Phoenix and disappeared, but then in 19 she’s suddenly back on the team. And Firestar is part of the X-Men? What the heck? Where did that come from? Does this happen in other Ultimate series in order to bridge the gap between 18 and 19? If so, please tell me. Its driving me crazy!
Jean’s mysterious return isn’t explained until a flashback in UXM 96 which was when she met Silver Surfer.
Firestar’s story was shown in Ultimate Spider-Man #118-119. At the end of the issue #119 Liz Allan (she hadn’t selected a code name yet) told Spider-Man that it would be cool to join the X-Men and she left for the mansion with Iceman who had helped Spider-Man to rescue her in a homage to “Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends”.
