What was the trailer in early Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer?

I saw a trailer that showed some people at a party and suddenly there was an explosion. It was based in NYC and it looked like it was filmed using a camcorder. Unfortunately I worked abroad for most of last year and never saw anything about him. All the guys help?

The title is Cloverfield … It is set to be released January 18, 2008. IMDB has more info about the movie.
