Silver Surfer Fancy Dress Costume

Well, it seems that Hollywood has continued revenue pot filled with, guess what, the heroes of the comics. Batman Begins and The Fantastic Four are about to fight Hollywood and Vine. An old comic book company rivalry is yet renewing the heat this year. I think all of us comic book aficionados have always wonder who would win the battle between such and such superheroes.
Well at least the next few months, one way to keep score is to watch the revenue generated from the newly launched "Batman Begins" and the soon to be released "Fantastic Four", which were both of my childhood fascinations. Not only are there super-heroes "who" is here, but the comics company will stand to gain the ground more economical? Batman punches the time clock every day in DC Comics and the Fantastic Four was the brainchild of Stan Lee and the crew of Marvel Comics.
And do not tell me that there is a small market comic book hero. Batman Begins said the number one spot in gross revenue in its first week. It will be very interesting to see what makes the Fantastic Four. Hollywood is definitely increasing thickness of its silver lining these days with movies comic book hero. Batman grossed nearly $ 49 million the opening weekend. How mint condition many old comics you have to sell to make that kind of dough? Are we on the wrong side of the world of comics (ha ha)?
The rivalry between Marvel and DC used to be a great divide between the united group of comics collectors. While interest in comics began to decline in the 1970s, this question became irrelevant. But now video games, games online role-playing and movie productions of major studios are springing up around the world, the classic conflict Marvel-DC is jumping back to life.
Superman is back to life on the big screen as well as Wonder Woman. Marvel is riding high off their big hits with the X-Men and Spiderman. They are now digging deep into their catalog of characters and are working on film adaptations of Iron Man, the submarine, Thor and Silver Surfer, among others. We have entered a new age comic book that will be set around big movies? Perhaps it could be called "Greenback Age. "Do you have another definition?
And as computer literate as so many are these days, Marvel and DC have to start developing more online games and virtual worlds of all the characters that you and I are willing to pay a monthly fee for access through our computers and game consoles. Ka-ching, Ka-ching. DC have announced an agreement with Sony Online Entertainment and Marvel are working with Vivendi Universal Games. With the massive success of the X-Men and Spider-Man films, this has proven that the Marvel characters still have life and relevance in pop culture today.
While DC can play a little catch, they are quick to point out that they and Warner Bro. have been more successful on the small screen with TV shows like
"Smallville" and the series of several animated cartoons. And once again, his TV and film projects to be filmed and aired by Warner Bro. conglomerate, DC gets to keep more profit than Marvel does on his projects.
What we the consuming public, out of all this? Well, first, we see our heroes in a more realistic light than ever. We can get popcorn and maybe an extra drink and watch our heroes and comic book characters come to life in a real world setting, at least for a few hours and come away with a little more joy in our hearts. Go out and you are immersed in Batman Begins and hold your breath for the Fantastic Four. And besides, this new revelation of Hollywood can only increase the value of our condition comics old mint. We can only wait and see.
