Silver Surfer Comics Character

Why do almost all say that Superman is too powerful?
Superman curse is powerful, but not to a point where it is not funny. There are many others that are equally or more powerful, such as: The Silver Surfer, Thor (what kind of company cheap-ass comic is so desperate that they have to make a god in a cartoon character?) Galactus, the Sentry, Dr. Manhattan, Zatanna, Dr. Fate, etc. .. and then, when Superman is able to reflect a bullet in his chest people say, "Superman sucks, he is very powerful, he has powers too, I do not like him because we can not relate to it! blah, blah, blah … ". It can be powerful in comparison to other heroes and villains, but remember, that's how he became the most popular hero of all time. The big 'S' shield is known by almost everyone in the world, not because it makes the others seem pu $ $ ys, but because he is super powerful (and what he represents).
I can try to answer this based on the story DC. One reason for renewed their DC characters, when you restarted your entire universe was because the power of Superman. The the original Superman became so powerful, he could do things like planets in orbits boost. Needless to say, the most powerful is a character, more difficult is to write a story about where he can not just easily beat threw everything at him. So, making a less powerful version of Superman (version Current modern), the writers could more easily write stories where the reader does not always know that Superman's triumph with ease. As for making a Marvel character in a God, I'm not sure that there is a business comic book that has not called ancient mythology for inspiration. Marvel and DC have used several members of the pantheon Greco-Roman (Hercules, Ares, Hippolyta (Wonder Woman's mother), Zeus, Poseidon, etc.), and the Norse (Thor, Odin, etc.), the former Egyptian pantheon (remember Mighty Isis), and others. Images even gone so far as to make characters based on God and Satan for the Spawn comics. Therefore, before bashing a company for using a deity as a cartoon character, allowing the company with comic book characters as not to cast the first stone.
