Silver Surfer Comic Book

What is the history of the original Silver Surfer?
as that in the comics ….
From what I know the Silver Surfer is a face of the planet Zenn La called Norrin Radd. He is an astronomer and discovers that his home planet will be destroyed by the almighty entity called Galactus. He makes a deal with Galactus to save his people from destruction. In business he agrees to help find planets for Galactus to devour. He gave a vessel spacelike silver (Board) and the extreme powers (along with an appearance of silver). He knows the Fantastic 4 later when he encounters the Earth and help him rediscover himself. Btw … the powers he is given by Galactus are called to Cosmic Power.
