Currently bought a Hitachi – Ultravision 50 "1080i Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV. I have a Phillips DVD Converter HDMI dvd recorder and I was wondering how can I tell if the TV supports progressive scan mode on my dvd player? I also wonder whether this TV is truly 1080i, because I read some comments and some people realize it was a misprint and that he is really 1080p. How do I notify? Hello my set up is that the Onkyo SR605 receiver kef 3005se speakers and 1080p lcd. HDMI cable from the Blu-ray and a PS3 to output HDMI amplifier afternoon tv. The problem I can not I choose DTS HD master audio amplifier. I own four fantastic rise of the Silver Surfer, which has DTS-HD Master Audio capabilites but do not know how to get the amp to decode it.
