Replace Timex Ironman Watch Battery

My illumination of my Timex Ironman watch won’t light anymore?

I just replaced the battery in my Ironman wrist watch but the illumination feature, that worked so well before, not longer works when I press the button. How can I get it working again?

if it was working prior to changing battery, then it may be bad connection internally, you could try removing battery again, check battery area and button switches, if one is slightly off , button wont work,
