system looks great and is tremendous fun. The blu-ray look amazing, the conversion up the blu-ray does your old DVDs look fantastic and if you upgrade to the 320 or 500 (like me) GB is basically the greatest thing that ever made (along with the iPod and the Kindle). Just add TV.

A word of advice: Make sure PS3 Playstation will grow with new titles.

I'll be honest, I'm a diehard Nintendo fanboy. I used to think that I would never touch on another system. But then, during the Gamecube era, there was a drought of my favorite genre – the platformer. At the time, the cube "had only a small handful available, only with Mario Sunshine leading the pack. Side of PS2 stuff, had Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter and Sly Cooper. It was given to me by my brother a used, almost new PS2 system and experienced the possibility an entire library of new titles that were never available to me before. It was then that I had a strange perception of what blindness caused über fanboyism hardcore, I had refused to experience great on all platforms.

Also, just to throw it out there is essential to use a PS3 Playstation HDTV (preferably 1080p). Anything else is a disservice to the ability of the system, its true potential can only be unlocked with HD.
