I'm too old to play video games, reading comics and watching anime?

I am 26 year old female, I love watching old school (not anime animated scrappily latest stuff) and playing video games ranging from old school like Zelda Nintendo, and SNES Secret of Mana, Xbox, Xbox 360, (as Halo and Marvel Alliance) Playstation 1-3 (Silent Hill, Final Fantasy, etc.) and Game Boy games I love to read Marvel, Dark Horse, DC Comics and Manga. I collect dinosaurs – nothing to see with them from posters to figurines Japanese dish, and still have a love for My Little Pony and He-Man. …… I just know I'm too old for this stuff? I I do not see my own growth out of video games or dinosaurs any time soon. These things make me so happy. I want to live my life, but I'm so worried about what other people think of me I'm immature … To Cory: then why are you answering questions from people who do not know on yahoo answers?

No, not immature at all. You must remember, video games used to be the main thing that a kid is back in the decade 80, when they were still a relatively new concept, but people who grew up in the 80s are in their 20's and 30's now. Games, therefore, have matured accordingly, and not the kiddie stuff they used to be … but any other form of entertainment, with various genres for all ages. Just turned 30 myself, and I still play PS3. It's just another form of entertainment, and some games can be as engaging as the best novels (maybe even more, due to the fact that he is Interactive … especially if it's one that you make your own character). There is so much going for the games (and anime for that matter) from a wide variety of disciplines. Artists, writers, choreographers, actors and even the stunt men and women (for motion capture) … all contribute their art for gaming nowadays. Anyone who thinks he's immature, probably only lacks the sophistication to understand that art can be enjoyed in many ways. Games, anime, comics … they are all art forms. If you can see the beauty in something that others can not, then it is their loss, right?
