COMIC READERS … How do I know the titles contribute to the canon of the universe and why not?

For example, Amazing Spider-Man is the only title following the Canon and continuity of the Marvel Universe and Spider Man story? or do all the titles? or a select few? please help me, I'm so confused.

with spiderman spiderman … amazing do not follow the continuity of the universe. spiderman ultimate spiderman and marvel adventures not, each of them there is a continuity out. With Marvel, most of all keep up the continuity, except for the ending "stories or" Marvel Adventures. there may be some others, but you would have read about them to know. some characters such as Spider-Man and Wolverine have more course of a series that exist in continuity.
