I heard it is), Civil War – $ 25 Y: The Last Man – Ultimate Spiderman $ 13 – $ 15 Ultimate X-Men – $ 15 Dark Knight Returns – $ 15 Batman: The Long Halloween – Batman $ 20 : The Killing Joke Batman -: A Death In The Family – $ 13 Batman: Year One – $ 15 Swamp Thing – Mouse Guard $ 20 – $ 25

I'd say Akira, but actually six books, each one for that price. Watchmen is essential, and Batman: The Long Halloween and The Killing Joke are two of my other favorites. Spider-man reign was an excellent type story of how Spider-man version of the Dark Knight Returns.
