Marvel Comics Rhino

Who else hated the Marvel Civil War?

Is it just me or was this super overrated? None of the characters acted like themsleves. "Large" deaths were all the characters I thought were already dead (and Jack was OLantern). Why Iron Man villains not only use, but the most bloodthirsty villaians he could find (Bullseye, Green Goblin, Venom, Lady Deathstrike)? Even if he needed help villain there are a lot of villains who are semigood (Rhino, Sandman, Trapster etc.). And they brought Captain Marvel (a hero who became famous for his death) back into a stupid story on page ten and then gave him a panel the Civil War. Oh, and when Hercules kills the clone of Thor steals not only the famous line politics, but also a Hulk line used in another clone Thor Hulk in issue 422. Collectors of so many minds are so narrow that if for a comic just because it is thought to be "hot." I bought them all and quickly sold. What a load of crap.

What a disappointment. Talk over-hyped. I never expected it to be as bad as it actually was. What you said about all acting out of character dead-on. Iron Man (my favorite hero since I was a kid in elementary school) acted like an @ ss the whole story. I never thought I'd see the day when he would achieve the lowest lows to help him on his screwed-up question. I also never thought I would see Tony, in essence, an enemy of Captain America. And the return Captain Marve?!? Why? Bucky first round, now him. There is no one to bring back the current Marvel Universe. And if you're bringing Captain Marvel back at least give you a little more coverage. Then to make matters worse, they kill Captain America as you know will be a long, long story, which will culminate with the return of Steve Rogers just in time for the release of the film of Captain America in two years! I do not have this let down by a plot in a long time.
