Raganork came close to happening or seen happen many times. Was finally established Ragnarok is a cycle. One of the most memorable battles was in the 1980s, where about Surtur brought it. This story arc has been collected in Thor: Visionaries by Walter Simonson. If you want one related to the current Thor series, which is supposed to be the "Ragnarok" they finally revealed the truth behind this has been collected in disassembled Avengers: Thor by Michael Avon Oeming gathering Thor vol.
