XMEN comics in a book?

Does anyone know where I could find, if there is such a thing, a full range of xmen comic compiled into a book complete? wonder who never do anything Sucha. I am into the Marvel characters, but I never really had a comic book. Recently I bought the origins Wolverine, but damn they are so short, not worth the money. So does anyone know if there is a compiled, a comic book that covers a wide xmen series or a mutant in particular? ie: Wolverine
