Old Comic Books, worthless?

I have a few comics that I got when I was a kid. I was not them, then so I threw in a bunch and forgot them. I know some people pay big money for some in good condition. Typically, 90 stories Comics do not have a high value. However, this is not true for everyone. I would say a lot, which may be worth a little, but as simple, probably not. Sorry for the lack of help!
