Ironman Movie
"Have you noticed the change over the last years of the superhero movies coming out of Hollywood? Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, they are all very dark movies lately. Where's the fun? Where's the enthusiasm? Heck, even some of the humor of Superman 2 would be welcome. Fortunately, we have a choice that will put a smile on your face with the warmth and realism as it is portrayed. This is the movie Ironman .
Robert Downey Jr. is not exactly a modern day Christopher Reeve. He comes across as a Boy Scout in tights. He also did not show us the boyish charm and good shows that Tobey McGuire in Spider-Man. Instead, what he does is he shows up with a scotch in hand, a baby in another and he says I'm here, take me or leave me, I do not care.
Downey is known for his acting style of "Take me or leave me" and play with a script. He not only take the lines and feed them back. He will make notes in the margins, it will transform your character into his own and not simply what the director want the character to be and that is what makes his portrait of the man of iron in the Ironman Movie so special.
Iron Man is also a different kind of superhero. He is not Batman, he is not Superman, hell, he is neither the Fantastic Four. He is a hero little known in the Marvel universe, and he seems to have a different opinion about things that many of the characters created by comic book super home. Just as Bruce Wayne / Bat Man Tony Stark is a mega-billionaire who have too much time on their hands. He builds himself a suit and goes out to chase the bad guys. Though unlike the Bat Man, he does so with more than one type of overall look and feel.
Basically, the story goes that Mr. Stark was captured by terrorists of some sort and they wanted to build the weapon for them. He pretends that complies with their demands, but in reality what he is really doing is building a prototype of his new costume Man Iron, which will allow you to blow the bad guys and then flee into the night, doing what superheroes do best, save the world from more bad guys.
I do not I'll tell the rest of the plot. If you have not seen the movie Ironman , let me leave you with this: it is worth seeing.
