Marvel Comics Kirby

Let us remember the late, great creator Steve Gerber, Howard the Duck, dead at 60. "
Steve Gerber has not only created Howard the Duck, but he touched off the fuse of revolution comic 'and' rights of writers. Until then, the publisher simply took control of the character, and if you did not like what they did with their creation, tough. Steve attracted support from a lot of powers like the comic book industry Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. Soon, they were suing Marvel Comics and things would never be the same again! Creators knew they did not have to suck up to the publisher. Opposition Gerber for Marvel was what led the Secret Wars and inspired by the explosion of a lot of young new artists and titles in the 1980s, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and others who could never have gotten off the ground without his example and inspiration. We will remember him and recognize his great contribution to comics! 16 February 8, 1431 hours, GMT.
