A look at the Hulk Vs Marvel Universe Gods: Hulk Vs Hercules
We've seen the headlines: Hulk vs Superman, Hulk vs Wolverine, Hulk vs the thing, and basically Hulk vs other superheroes. Classics that caught our imagination. Who is stronger? Who is the better fighter? Who will win?
And again The Hulk has proven that he is more of a game for most, if not all, superheroes. But just like him against the gods? Lucky for us, there are two gods in the universe of the book Marvel Comics, one of Olympus and Asgard, who walk among mortals and they clashed with the Hulk on occasion.
Let's take a look at some Marvel matchups between these powers:
HULK vs. Hercules
Only a handful of characters symbolize strength. Throughout history, nobody is more famous by virtue of the Greek demigod Hercules. His feats of strength, the 12 labors of Hercules, are passed from generations to generations. In the Marvel universe, however, Hercules, an immortal of Mt. Olympus, had to deal with other powerful beings to gain the title of "The Mighty". And he does not always wins.
Actually, the Hulk and Hercules met on several issues, with mixed results:
- Avengers # 267. fans comics for the first time the Hulk and Hercules battle it out in Avengers No. 267. This year, Hercules and the Avengers were stuck in limbo by his nemesis, Kang. Upon his arrival in the first place, the Incredible Hulk came out of nowhere to attack the Avengers. Hercules stepped up and struck a single knockout blow to the Hulk. Intrigued by the fast results, after examining the unconscious giant, the Avengers found that the Hulk was in a trance that earned less than their usual threat. Maybe Avengers 267 should not count as an encounter, but however, given comic fans a sneak peek of future struggles with Hulk vs. Hercules.
– Hulk # 316. Many Avengers Hulk fan and I still remember the shock great in the 316 when the Banner Hulk-less, rampaging Hulk took four Avengers, namely Iron Man, Wonder Man, Namor and Hercules. The fight was interrupted by Doc Samson, he felt responsible for removing Bruce Banner the Hulk in the first place. Source: LeadersLair.com
– Hulk-Hercules Unleashed. If you Hulk is a fan, you will thoroughly enjoy this one. After the superheroes disappeared because of Onslaught, Hercules attempted to convince the Hulk, the only survivor to help find other heroes. Hulk was not in the mood and a fight ensued. Hercules was beaten so bad he would have died had Zeus not intervened to save him.
Hulk and Hercules who fought in a handful of other issues. The last to be HULK VS. HERCULES: WHEN TITANS CLASH published in April 2008.
