I need a cartoon character?

I'm writing a screenplay for college and I would like to make a comics adaptation. I need a good hero, who is rather unknown to most people who are not familiar with the comic, so that none of the famous, not man spider or Captain America. it should preferably be Marvel and I'd like one with a good story behind them, lots of villains, etc. I am not a kind CCOM book person so I'm not good at it. I was going to make reckless, but there is a movie of it. any idea please;)
