Marvel Comics Hiring Writers
What are the pros and cons of working for Marvel, DC, Image and Dark Horse?
How much does pay to work as a writer and artist of these companies? I know that DC and Marvel are both based in New York City, but what about the Dark Horse and Image? What cities are based? For more than a thirst for these companies and, if so, where they could be located? I would have to live in New York? How difficult is it to be hired by these guys and do what they expect from you (What the requirements / what they look)? Who would be best to work with and why (not to say, because they have cool characters, comics, graphic novels, etc.)? Who respects the writers / artists / creative freedom / creations independently owned / creator rights, etc. anymore? Any information will be much appreciated. Thank you.
