New to DC … what's good?

ive been reading most only wonder i dont know anything thats going on in DC. I started with the Ultimate Marvel, read everything in same, no wonder then looked familiar. I never got to read DC. I started reading Batman and its fantastic. I mean, how can not be, to barely get his Goddamn Batman the main story arcs wkikipedia but the version that is DC The Runaways, X-23, eternal, Marvel Zombies … Deadpool and Thanos. thats what is good not superman batman No i love the characters too mainstream … spidey iron man x-men daredevil, I also like Ultimate Marvel, ultimates are awesome …. who are the characters good and where do I start reading … Green Lantern and Flash seems interesting enough. And those with good art, from 96 98 onwards. I appreciate any help in doubling time I spend on comics

I like the Justice League of America and the Justice Society of America. Jonah Hex is one of the best books now.get previous editions of 52 and Countdown, good story and also has two page origin story of different characters. check out the Encyclopedia published by DC DK Publishing.
