Characters in Iron Man
Stark Tony is one of the biggest reasons to see this movie. Stark is one of the most dynamic characters in comics history of the book, and he shows no signs of stopping.
Stark is a genius on the level of child prodigy, but also quite a hedonist like an adult. He put his father flourishing arms manufacturer Stark Enterprises work very well on their own – something that works well too, as Stark sees his weapons used by insurgents in Afghanistan during the time of his capture. Upon his return, Stark decides to reinvent direction Stark Enterprise is far from weapons.
Tony is an alcoholic. This is only lightly touched in the movie, but it could provide most of the inner demons Tony in subsequent films.
Tony's secretary, Pepper Potts and as the film shows, she is more than that. Confidant, adviser to the camp and right-hand man, the pepper has the difficult task of maintaining the billionaire playboy Stark Online at first, and is the logical counter-argument to search-driven Tony epiphany for redemption. A fundamental difference of comics: Pepper learn about alternative ego Tony's early, intense relations.
No comics, Jim Rhodes is Tony's eventual rescuer from the war zone, and although he plays a similar role in the movie, there's Rhodes and Stark are depicted as longtime friends. Rhodes is seen as a call from Tony with the military, and takes all its responsibilities very seriously, making it a visible sheet the way you live playboy Tony. As suggested in the film, however, Rhodes then gifts of a prototype machine as Tony's armor of war. Actor Terrance Howard has declared interest in this direction, but its role in the first film is largely on the sidelines.
Another key character is mythos Iron Man's Obadiah Stane, Tony's mentor, business partner and finally the opponent. The last of the most important auxiliary of the movie Iron Man is certainly Jarvis – in the comics he is an English butler ironic, but the movie Iron Man shows him as a super-intelligent computer voiced by Paul Bettany. Finally, there also an aspect heavily touted by Colonel Nick Fury, the head of SHIELD whose appearances Marvel Studio announces effort to link his characters.
