The story of Superman

Superman was created in 1932 by Canadian artist Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel, American writer. They later sold the rights to publish Detective Comics, Inc. The superhero appeared in public for the first time in the first issue of Action Comics in 1938.

On January 16, 1939, Superman has expanded in a newspaper comic strip that ran until May 1966!. Also during 1939, four radio programs were produced test in an attempt to sell the superhero as a radio program. On February 12, 1940, audiences in New York began to hear the Superman radio for the first time and on August 31, 1942, the radio program was the country. He remained in the air for more than 1,600 episodes over 8 1 / 2 years!

Then on September 19, 1952, The Adventures of Superman came to television and lasted 102 episodes in six seasons!

Like newspaper comics were completed in 1966, our superhero appeared as a Broadway musical titled "It's a Bird … It's a Plane … It's Superman." There was also an album produced the game and was filmed for television. Unfortunately, was not very successful and ended after a mere 128 shows.

That same year, an animated series entitled "The New Adventures of Superman" premiered on September 10, 1966. Sixty-eight six minutes long histories of Superman were forwarded along with "The Adventures of Superboy" and other superheroes DC Comics.

Another Superman animated series, titled "Super Friends" aired 1973-1984 co-starring Batman and Robin, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Marvin Wonder Dog.

In 1978, starring Christopher Reeve in the movie theater, "Superman." He was so successful that the three films were produced Additional titled "Superman II" (1980), "Superman III" (1983) and "Superman IV: The Quest For Peace" (1987).

In 1988, another animated series titled simply "Superman" was born along with a new television series, "Superboy," which emphasized the life of Superman as a teenager in 1988 ran for four seasons and 100 episodes!

The television was next, "Lois and Clark", which highlighted the relationship between Superman and Lois Lane. He lasted four seasons (1993-1997) but for only 87 episodes.

"Superman: The Animated Series" was broadcast 1996-2000. It used to big name stars for the voices of the characters and even the faces of the characters modeled after the stars!

In 2001, "Smallville" helped the WB Network (now the CW network) become a major player with other large networks. As of this writing (in 2008) is still in the air in his eighth season! Investigates Smallville Clark's life as a teenager enemies and their relationships with family, friends, and like nothing before!

After a lapse of 19 years in the Superman films theatrical "Superman Returns" hits theaters in 2006! After finding his home planet, "Krypton" destroyed, Superman returned to Earth to get back on Lex Luthor and his evil plans, of course, regain the love of Lois Lane!

Undoubtedly, there is no danger that the saga of Superman is disappearing media anytime in the near future! The honest, kind, caring and heroic Man of Steel "is only to appeal as a heroic icon to fail the test of time!
