A-4 Skyhawk

A6M Zero
The A6M Zero was featured in the films The Final Countdown, Pearl Harbor, and Tora! Tora! Tora!. The Zero was also portrayed in the 1976 film Midway, however real zeros were not used. Instead F4F addition Wilcats were painted as the Japanese planes and used.

Avro Ashton

Avro Vulcan
The Avro Vulcan figures the novel by Anthony Gray's 1965 The Penetrators, where an RAF officer attempts to demonstrate a weakness in North American strategic defense system, NORAD, launching a simulated attack involving nine Vulcans Vickers Valiant and some tanks for refueling.

The Bell 47 in its configuration as a military H-13 Sioux, was instrumental in the TV series M * A * S * H and the film of the same name.

More importantly, the aircraft was used in a suicide attack against the U.S. Capitol building, killing the President, the majority of Cabinet and Congress who were present for a joint session of U.S. Congress. This event laid the foundations for a novel Orders "Executive", another best-seller.
Boeing 767
The Boeing E-767 (the 767 configured as a commercial system airborne early warning and control aircraft), was crucial to the plot's novel Debt of Honor. During a war between the U.S. and Japan, E-767 were considered valued assets to be protected by the Japanese operating system and high priority targets for the U.S. military.
Bcker Bestmann
In the film The Great Escape, the characters played by James Garner and Donald Pleasence steal a Bcker B 181 Bestmann a German airport, in an attempt to fly to Switzerland neutral, but the aircraft is developed engine problems and crashes.
CASA 2.111

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was the central movie Top Gun. In the movie of John Wayne: Flying Tigers (1942) Real Curtiss P-40 are available. A critic of the New York Times called the P-40 "the real stars" of cinema. Republic Studios also built replicas for the film due to lack of materials during the war.

P-47 Thunderbolt

P-51 Mustang

Percival Proctor

The Spitfire was also the main aircraft used in the television series in 1988 Piece of Cake. The series was based on a novel of the same name. Riders on the novel flew the Hawker Hurricane, but the lack of airworthy Hurricanes forced producers to change the types of aircraft, using five Spitfires reconditioned.
The 1951 movie centered around Malta Story Spitfires and their pilots defending Malta in 1942.
Supermarine Swift
The second prototype Supermarine Swift appeared as promised in the 1952 film the sound barrier.
Thurston Teal
The TSC 1A1 Teal appears in the opening shots over the iconic 1973 horror film The Wicker Man
Lockheed U-2
The U-2 made a significant appearance in the movie Thirteen Days that the aircraft initially detected Soviet missiles being deployed in Cuba.
UH-1 Iroquois
The UH-1 Iroquois (Huey commonly called) was a central part of the movie We Were Soldiers. The helicopter was ferrying troops in the Ia Drang Valley as part the then new concept of air cavalry. The film particularly focuses on the flights of Major Bruce Crandall, who was later awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for their actions while piloting their UH-1 during the battle depicted in the film. Four of the UH-1s were supplied by the Army National Guard of Georgia.
The UH-1 was an important part the movie The Green Berets. The producer paid $ 18,623.64 for material, the 85 hour flight helicopter UH-1 and 30-80 man-days by the military off their regular functions.
UH-60 Black Hawk
The HU-60 Black Hawk aircraft was the title the movie Black Hawk Down. Filmmakers paid the U.S. Defense Department about $ 3 million for sent eight helicopters and about 100 crew members for the local movie in Morocco.
Blackhawks have also appeared in the movie "Air Force One" once again have been rented by the U.S. military.
V-22 Osprey
Two CV-22 Ospreys (only three out of the USAF inventory at the time) were filmed in flight at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, in May 2006 for the 2007 Transformers movie. That would inspire a series of Transformers toys and characters based on the Osprey including the Decepticon Incinerator and ruin and the Autobots Blades and Springer.
V-22s play prominent roles in several novels by Dale Brown, more specifically, which presents a Hammerheads MV-22 on the cover.
In the television series Stargate: Atlantis, Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard contrasts fly a V-22 Osprey "You had to use their hands and feet with that. "To fly the ancient" city of Atlantis in season three finale "first attack". He gives impression that it will be easier to make the city - "This you just have to sit and think ... Fly."
XB-70 Valkyrie
The Transformers Silverbolt character was upgraded to an XB-70 Valkyrie for the line of the universe, like a toy class Ultra.
