What are some “lesser known” Marvel and DC comic book characters that you like?

They can be villains, super heroes, side characters, etc.

I have a few, but one that always stood out to me was “Stingray”, a member of Marvel’s Avengers from time to time.

Someone other than Batman, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Capt. America, Thor, Hulk, or Iron Man.

Tell me who they are and why you like the character(s).

Deadpool. The Merc With a Mouth. Funny as hell, and I also love his inspiration, Deathstroke the Terminator. So glad that he will be in the new Wolverine movie.

Deathstroke. Even in his soft TV version as Slade from the Teen Titans TV show he was still a bad ass. Insane reflexes and increased mental usage make him a top notch villain.

Taskmaster. Created by George Perez(just like Deathstroke), yet another merc character I love. Awesome costume, photographic reflexes, and him taking down Giant Man and Stature in their giant modes with just one toss of a sheild was brilliant.

Moon Knight. Almost as good as Batman, but 3x the crazy!! A bad ass hero with multiple personalities. Gets down and dirty.

The Question. Great look with the featurless face, and his characterization on the JLU cartoon was priceless. The inspiration for Watchmen’s Rorschach.

Iron Fist. His new series is one of the best written comics today, and I’ve always had a soft spot for martial arts guys. Love the green and yellow costume and dragon chest tattoo.

Ghost Rider. Constant second string hero in Marvel. Amazing visual look. His second incarnation(Danny Ketch in the 90s) was my favorite, and the first comic book I ever collected.

Beta Ray Bill. One of the few characters in Marvel who have been deemed worthy to lift Mjolnir. Beat up on Thor to prove himself, and then gave the hammer back out of honor.

There are tons more I could mention, but you get the idea.
