Marvel Comics Anti Venom

I have a question for Spider-Man comics. Can anyone explain the situation Symbiote happening?

I know about Venom and Carnage. But what's the deal with the toxin and anti-poison "I stopped reading Marvel a few years ago and saw some brief comments on a blog. Anyone have inside information about it?
