How do I find the prices for my comic books and cards?

Marvel Masterpieces 1992 Marvel Comics and more

The easy answer to your question is go on ebay and see what people are actually buying and selling comics and cards. This is way more accurate than any price guide (and also takes much less time than going to a comic convention, I do not know why it was suggested) A complete set Marvel Masterpieces can go for a couple hundred, last I checked. They are the only set of cards that is worth anything. If you have only a few random cards, not wait a few dollars more, people want complete sets. As for his comics – I'm assuming you're buying cards from 1992, which is about where the comics are good. For most of the books of the 1980s and 1990s, you'd have to sort through all of them to find maybe a handful that would go to $ 10 each, and only if they are just in almost perfect condition. popular books of the 1980s today are extremely common and easy to find, and therefore generally not rare or desirable. Back in the '60s and before, children treated her like crap comics and throw them away because they think it would be something worthy of a day. That's why older comics are rare and most valuable in best condition. Many comics of the last 30 years to find its way into boxes discount of 25 cents each. If you want to book prices, grab a copy of Wizard or use http://www.comicspriceguide.com but you should how the guide price first works. The prices shown for each problem are the highest prices a retailer would reasonably be expected to ask for the issues as almost perfect. This is for retailers. Retailers can put a price tag of $ 4 on a comic book and wait 10 years for someone to enter and buy at this price. If you want it sold now, rather than in ten years, you usually have to settle for 50 cents apiece or less for most books 80s and 90s. Comics listed at $ 06.07 and above you are more likely to see more money. Check eBay to see what people actually pay for books you have. You can find most of them in "batches" or collections, not for individual sale. Log into ebay and search for "complete list" so you can see the auctions where people actually make money not paid listings of sellers with unrealistic prices.

Excerpt: Awesome Comics or Awesome Entertainment (also known as Awesome-Hyperwerks when they were briefly joined with Hyperwerks Entertainment) is an American comic book studio that was formed in 1997 by Image Comics co-founder Rob Liefeld. The company folded in 2000. In 1992, seven high-profile comics artists left Marvel Comics to form their own publisher, where comics creators could publish creator-owned material without having to give up copyright-control to their characters. The seven artists (bar Whilce Portacio, who opted not to become a full partner) formed a partnership between their individual studios, and published their comics under the over-arcing Image Comics banner. Image’s early titles were distributed by Malibu Comics (a company chosen for its good marketing and distribution practices), while Image established itself independently. The studios were: Todd McFarlane’s “Todd McFarlane Productions”, Marc Silvestri’s “Top Cow Productions”, Jim Lee’s Wildstorm Productions, Erik Larsen’s Highbrow Entertainment, Jim Valentino’s ShadowLine and Rob Liefeld’s Extreme Studios. Extreme Studios’s Youngblood became the first comic released under the Image banner, and became the first independent (non-Marvel/DC) title to be a number-one best-seller. Other “Extreme” titles published through Image included: Badrock, Bloodstrike, Brigade, Team Youngblood, Youngblood Strikefile, Glory, Prophet, Supreme, Troll and New Men. Titles thought not to fit with the Image brand were self-published under Liefeld’s separate imprint: Maximum Press. These titles included Avengelyne, Warchild, Law and Order, Black Flag, Risk, and even licensed properties such as the classic sci-fi TV show Battlestar Galactica (based on the original 1978-1979 TV series). After Liefeld’s… More:
