GREEN LANTERN # 53

May 5

Occurring after the Blackest Night, the body color set an intergalactic peace among themselves. Someone captured the Phalanx and ready to collect the other entities the power of different bodies. Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris explores their relationship however interrupted by another flashlight. Geoff Johns pulls an inside joke between Luthor and Larfleeze. Awesome question and a great start with an ending that leaves you wanting curious more.

ULTIMATE AVENGERS # 6

May 3

This is the end of the first story arc by Mark Millar. The story is very tame compared to the action in Nemesis. The last five issues have been a slow build to this conclusion. Really felt as the arc of the story could be completed in three editions. Carlos Pacheco's art is amazing however your past work, the Avengers Forever limited series was better.

Supergirl # 52

May 2

This book serves as a prelude to this fall of Supergirl Annual # 2 of that part of the current last stand history of New Krypton. The book begins with Zod taking the fight to Brainiac, the relationship between Brainiac 5 and Supergirl, and ends with Superman returning to fight. Nothing really appealing, except to wait for Supergirl Annual # 2 half of this year to get the full story.

DARK WOLVERINE # 85

May 4

This issue begins the four part crossover "Reckoning" with Wolverine Origins that really brings you to the characters history. Great beginning of a story and has an ending that I did not expect. The story continues with Wolverine Origins # 47. Can not wait.

Siege: Spider-Man

May 3

No purchase necessary because you already know that nothing will happen on this big problem affecting Marvel continuity in the long term. Full control issue before concluding the Siege # 4. vs.Venom Spider-Man. Ms. Marvel vs. Venom. Fun but not necessary.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN # 628

May 4

Roger Stern sequel of the 80 remains the mystery unfold with Captain Universe. Great writing, one of the masters of suspense classics followed by another classic writers: Mark Waid and Tom Peyer. Art in the first half of the book with Lee Weeks was amazing though, the artwork with Nauck Tom seemed a little cartoonish but forgivable given the writers involved.

STREETS OF GOTHAM BATMAN # 11

2 OUT OF 5

Conclusion to the plot set in issue # 8. Only a massive fight scene and without major repercussions to the Batman mythology and on additions. Just felt bored by the reading of history.

X-MEN LEGACY # 235

4 5

Chapter 4 of the Second Coming story that crosses the X-Men books, setting the stage for a new status quo in July. Fine art of Greg Land – reminding him when he did for the defunct CrossGen Comics Stay. This edition includes the deaths on both sides of the line as the bad guys are getting smarter and are therefore heroes.

The story continues in X-Force # 26, the next half-point to the plot that promises a major death in the Universe-X. Betting Cape sacrificing himself for hope, thus pushing it out of its shadows and at the forefront of the X-Men.

CHEW # 10

May 5

Fell in love with this series in the first issue, which is always very creative and fresh. This edition contains the second plot 'International Flavor. incredible final and looking forward to the next story arc!

Justice League of America # 44

2 of 5

James Robinson Smart reintroduces its two new additions to the Justice League of their cries for justice mini-series: Starman and Congorrilla as well as their skills and capabilities. This story is under the banner Brightest Day but I'm at a loss as how does the anti-climatic end to fit in with this question Blackest Night # 8.

THE SPIRIT # 1

May 3

The second book in the DC line of First Wave is as intriguing as the first. I do not know much about except the character in the movie of Frank Miller could not but this book is good. The writer Mark Schultz captures the feeling of being in Central City. The story back is by Denny O'Neil and Bill Sienkiewicz. The art history seems to back up that was drafted by a five years old, and the story is very rushed.

SAVAGE SHE-hull # 2

May 3

Expanding the background and the origins of World War I shells that are given clues to pieces and the reasons for planning and Lyra. Good ride by the narrator Jeff Parker, however, he still did Hulked Zeroes Out, so I have some resentment.

Sorry – not even bothering to review this issue

REBELS # 15

May 4

After completing the storyline writer Tony Bedard Starro pulls another major theme of the rebels. The comic opera of the area of action, humor and adventure. Starro faces trial Dox promises restart biosphere Rann, Starfire and joins the cast. Since the Vega System opened the authority of the Green Lantern expect a cross soon.

ULTIMATE
SPIDER-MAN # 9

May 2

It is not as strong as Bendis original run on Ultimate Spider-Man. I feel this comic is still establishing its identity.

DIRECTOR'S CUT Blackest Night

May 5

Comment from the creators, writers and artists for the Blackest Night. A must have for any fan of Lantern Green and any aspiring writers and artists who want to improve their understanding of the development of a comic book.

SIF # 1

May 2

Following the story of Lady Sif as she adjusts to life in a small Midwestern town – a call for help Beta Ray Bill depressing break the spirit and gives her purpose. The story is open and close showing Lady Sif account issues related to Loki to steal your fitness and imprisoning her with a woman dying.
