Marvel Captain America Death

Captain America‘s death is a political statement? That’s what Adult Swim said! ?
Last night I was watching Adult Swim and they made a comment on their white on black text blocks during commercials that it was crazy that Marvel Comics killed off Captain America as a political statement…
So they killed the Cap’ just to say how much they disagree with the choices being made in the government at this time?
Well what do you think? Was it a political stunt by Marvel Comics to kill off Captain America or was it really just something they chose to do in their comics without it being at all related to government today?
Comics have often been used to reflect certain injustices in the world at large. But seriously, political opinions from ADULT SWIM?! That weirds me out more!
