What does time management mean to you?

Time management.

These two words often strike fear in the hearts Americans.

Although the holidays are just around the corner, with trips, parties, Christmas lights / decorations for Hanukah and put themselves, work to do, to serve customers, friends to spend time with, gifts to buy, blah, blah, blah. The list is almost endless.
The common thread is that all these have something. Time.

What does the phrase time management mean to you?

Since I had 21 years of age, fresh out of college, I built several companies from scratch, moved across the country or in a new city and state where I knew no one, starting all over, both professional and personal life and was able to find a balance immediately. No grass grew under my feet. I immediately built systems, networks built dream, created fitness routines physics, joined churches, found new friends and relationships within weeks of each move. Another thing I discovered years later – what I was able to create and do and have in my life as a result of these skills I had were apparently born in me and abilities that did not touch at all or seemed to possess or have a conscience. I discovered these skills are rarely used by people and each time I shared with people I could have completed in my life, were puzzled, surprised and perplexed. They would I ask the same questions.

How I did it? What made me to be an entrepreneur, an Ironman triathlete, success coach, author, volunteer, friend, coach – which makes it all possible?

Simple answer to me was as simple as two words. Time management.

Some argue, so there is no such thing as time because there is no such thing as time management. In a way, they're right. Let's look at this first before continuing. Let's stay on the same page. What is the time, really? What is time management?

In the 5th century BC Greece, a work written Antiphon by Sophis, he says, "The time is not a reality but a concept or a measure." Modern philosophers of the day meant that belief about in saying that time is unreal or an illusion of our lives. Interesting thought!

In Religion and Biblical times, Scripture says there is a time " for everything under heaven "Time seems to be a reference appointed or turning point of sorts to measure the past, present and future. Another interesting sight.

In the arena of science, according to the free online reference, Wikipedia, Einstein said "The only reason for time is so everything does not happens at once. "In this regard, Einstein said that time was basically reading a clock, the clock can be any action or change, as the movement of the sun. Einstein showed that people traveling at different speeds will measure different times of events and different distances between objects, although these differences are less than one minute is traveling at a speed close to that of light. Again, another point for the measurement.

I discovered that the research is to use the time actually a field of study. Time use research is about the allocation of time spent on different activities in our daily life, such as the time at home, work, shopping, etc. use the time variable is dependent on access to technology as well (internet, television and radio and in that department), which allows appear to make things faster and more effective communication be unlimited in time, people, places or things and I still believe that it is still all based on a thing. This is the aspect of how we spend our time or our time managing the budget, in our days, 24 hours a day – also a measure that, like humans who agreed with the use of thousands of years ago. Just as it is necessary for our budget expenditure of money, you also need to budget our time and how to spend it. Unlike money, we are all given the same amount of time, measured in seconds, minutes, hours on a given day, month and year of our life.

With all this research, my preferred definition of time management that I use today is this.
Time management is a tool for self-discipline, self-discovery through which it is a yardstick that we are all given to quantify our priorities in any given day. It's simply how we manage our time, manage our disciplines and ultimately, manage our own in our mindset in a balanced mental, physical and spiritual delegation the time. How we use the time that will determine our fate for happiness, success and personal growth. Period.

I also believe that regardless our access to technology and knowledge of communication systems there is still time management based on ourselves and how we use our time effectively and efficient, which seems to you. The choice is yours. There is no right or wrong, but your choice of how to use their time affects the world on a daily basis. The use of time, will certainly affect their future.
I work with my coaching clients about this time.

If you choose to use their time to lead generate in your business today or choose to look outside the window, the action will cause you might have a recipe for business or cash flow in a few months from now? If you choose to use your time to eat that piece of cake today instead of piece of fruit will reach your ideal goal weight faster? If you choose to use time to meditate or pray instead of sleeping or going to bed early, you will feel more at peace and connected to your spiritual self? These examples are pretty basic for me and I have helped many clients to consider when weighing how to spend your time. The appearance can be very different and that is excellent. Whatever works for you is perfect.

Here's a thought for you to ponder. You just learned that in the time that you have the power to choose. Time management is how you manage your choices with the time given. The game time favorite? I think not. Time waits favorites because it is not given more time than anyone else since we all have 24 hours on any day. Even if someone dies at a younger age than you – you are still responsible for time amended. Nobody is fooled in time. Have you heard of Father Time? Father Time is the personification of time and, along with Mother Nature, has been used as a figure of our own mortality. The hourglass you are given keeps going, no matter what you choose to do with your time. Since the last hours is gone, it is gone forever.

How do you manage your time? Use it as if you'll live forever? Either you control it as if you will die tomorrow? You are purposeful with your time? Or purpose and lack of clarity in the use of their time to its highest and best use at any time Single?

Give it some thought. You are the author of his own time and time management. I gave my own definition. I'm just a teacher appeared to him now. I want you to apply its own definition for his own life.

Happy Holidays! Enjoy your time with friends / family / Customers this season and at the end of the year. I trust that you will use your time wisely.
