Fantastic 4 Trainers

fantastic 4 trainers
what to do 4 bad biting behavior.?

A horse that I am supposed to show this spring in the A circut has a behavior problem. He has a nasty nipping problem. We have tried EVERYTHING to stop this. We dnt let him get away with this but he still does it. He thinks of it as a game. He has picked my trainer up by the shoulder before and has injured her before. Its mostly her
(his owner/my trainer) that he does this to. He does this thing with her where he rears then jumps up and put his head between his legs when she rides him on the flat. He totally took care of another girl that was showing him this summer. He is a fantastic show horse and jumper but a jerk in the barn and to his owner. He seriously thinks of it as a game. What can we do. We punish him and have tried things from muzzles to putting a little spiky sort of thing on our butts(doesn’t hurt him it just bugs them) when picking out his feet so he doesn’t get us then. He still does it though. Is there anything left to try? other trainers wnt take him in.

I’m sorry but you have a very serious problem and methods being used aren’t working nor going to work. This horse is showing no respect for anyone. I’m surprised no one hasn’t gotten seriously injured. He’s in desperate need of an attitude adjustment by someone qualified. Apparently the trainer isn’t. It needs to get corrected. Start by asking around for some serious help. Surely there’s got to be someone you can find that can get handle on this problem. It may cost owner some bucks but should be done. I have horse that was stud till 6yr. old and he brought that dominating attitude with him. I had cowboy/trainer cowboy up on him for 30 days. Now he knows he’s a gelding and I’m the alpha :)
