Fantastic 4 Soundtrack Listing

WRAPPIN 'Up 2009 With RDB
After touring around the world for four hit songs this year to achieve the greatest wedding in Bollywood, which made more more! Now, to me, his Kuly, Manji, Surj & Nindy, but for the rest of the world their idols, models and celebrities.
In performance between all India and preparing for the holidays, I had the pleasure (as always * wink wink) to catch up with these incredible musicians for an exclusive interview. For your reading pleasure, I present a final sit-down with RDB and Nindy Kaur!
Wow, you had a heck of a year. Tell us, what was your most memorable moment 2009?
Kuly: As always touring with my brothers and sister … seeing the clues that we have been doing really light up fans faces … you just can not beat that feeling.
Manji: It has to be on tour with the whole family, which includes Anoop, my son. Every time we have on stage that he would only run the show and take over … he is an absolute nutcase like their parents … haha!
Surj: For me it has to be the rides in India. It was great fun and met many new people.
Nindy: Presentations and video shoos are hand-in-hand to me. But I'm going with video recordings. We filmed the video for my music and Akhiyan was great fun. Will definitely be something that fans will love it! I know we do!
Bollywood was a success for you since its first appearance in 2007. Tell us how you've grown as singers playing from his debut full Raft Raft.
Manji on vocals: Well as a singer I think I just tried to improve and better as time went on. I never stop procrastinating and still have much to learn, but never least I gave my 100% vocally to all our songs and your show that people like the songs.
Kuly / Surj on the production: How Manji has talent voice and forward voice RDB, we feel that a strong base of music behind it helps to create our unique sound that yearns for Bollywood.
Nindy: Talking about what I have done personally, I think there's much more that can be done. And trust me, 2010 will have a lot of shows out loud. But I loved having my debut with two tracks of fun, Aloo Chaat & Boliyan. On one side was on the tip Aloo Chaat Hip hop and that is the traditional letter Boliyan of. The guys also had the opportunity to show how versatile their production capacity are too. Everyone will go crazy with all the news!
What do you consider your greatest strength and inspiration out of your family?
Manji: It has to be sure the fans as they lead us to make better music … Pips but my friend who is always giving me a pump that helps too, haha!
Kuly: Other amazing tracks and producers … Inspiration is all around us.
Surj: Fans come firstly, but also push positive media, without whom the fans could not imagine!
Nindy: The fans are very inspiring.
So the only thing I find cool is it that you interact. Whether it's Twitter or Facebook, you're always connecting with their fans. As the Internet has helped make up four more with their fans too?
Kuly: It has allowed us to be more close to our fans … to hear their views and comments and, of course, take into account its praises.
Manji: It's always good to see feedback from the fans when you interact with, I think it's a great way to show appreciation to our loyal fans that we recognize them. It also shows the fans who are not only great counters trying to make money and show … Us all about his music and bring something new to the table.
Surj: online presence has been one of our "must have" ways to communicate with people. Since we started with www.RDBtv.com and then moved on, we feel that this is our best way to get our word and sound by means of the masses.
Nindy: I think it's fabulous. I have my fanpage on Facebook and whenever I change my status, everyone is always commenting. And it's a good feeling when you see something that someone wrote, you could comment back, and then comment saying you're comment made her day. That really, ultimately, make my day, because I see that I interacted with someone who enjoy my music and they are happy. I really need to go back to Tweeting away. I think my last tweet was that I went shopping with the boys, and I did much more since then!
What are your New Year's resolutions?
Kuly: To spend more time with my family and in the studio!
Manji: To go on a strict diet and exercises for this year! Nindy is probably laughing, but I promise to stick by him … I have to start Shahid Kapoor body state in 2011 … haha!
Surj: Marry! Haha! I'm just kidding, is actually the usual: get toned up, make money, make music and make … I mean spread love!
Nindy: Oh boy, this is a difficult question! How about this: my New Year resolution is to not eat a lot of sweets like chocolates and MITH! This means stopping to give me Hershey Kisses Tirusha!
Fair enough Nindy! So now on something I know all four of you love – fashion! Always I see you running, the style is an important part of your presentation. Who do you normally rock when you're out, take a tour or shoot?
Kuly: Classic tee Nudie CK and my pants … a simple and classic look forever.
Manji: Well, I was bending G-Star and True Religion, but since I went to India, I found a great tailor who makes me the exact design I think. In fact, teamed up with Desi Wear and we our own design T-shirts, jackets and jump suits, so I've been wearing our own stuff too.
Surj: Must be bro-G (G-star), which fits well and looks the part. But as music, fashion is always changing, so we'll be adapting.
Nindy: I love shopping in the UK. I leave Toronto with two suitcases and come back with six! But when it comes to something Desi, I love designers like Neeta Lulla, Ritu Kumar and Manish Malhotra … tip, suggestion!
Nindy Ok, I get the point! Haha, well that was the easiest way! Here is a hard question! All of you are always wearing something new! Who do you think were the most elegant in Bollywood this year?
Kuly: I always liked the style of Amir Khan … of sharp suits to funky T-shirts.
Manji: Why I like the style sure Saif Ali Khan, he sure knows what happens there.
Surj: Aki is always wearing something new, but like all actors and actresses, so you need to make it look right.
Nindy: Kareena for sure. She was always looking good, whenever I saw her and she's fab style was too much!
I said this before, many people feel that models in the industry. While you were getting your music career, did you look up and see their own role models?
Kuly: Musically I had a great mix of models, from Paul Simon to Petshop Boys … then as my musical tastes developed, I came to love all the great present Hip-Hop Dre Timbo.
Manji: I used to look at all the artists like Michael Jackson, Kriss Kross, MC Hammer and all the classic Bhangra as Alaap, Premi, Surinder Shinda, Kuldip Manak.
Surj: I was a big fan of rock, not only Indie Rock or Pop, but had a great Metal Rock thing, so varied in order to influence all Surjit Bindrakhia for Bodycount.
Nindy: I was always very influenced by Bhangra scene in the UK, so it is very difficult for me to really identify cause back in the 80 bands were fantastic, but I must say that without those bands I do not think I'd be so inspired!
When you are traveling on the road, what are the three things you should take with you and why?
Kuly: My Macbook, my HD Flip Cam to capture all the backstage antics and, of course, my Blackberry!
Manji: my phone, my bros and my wife and son … ok, ok, who is four, but I do not care (laughs).
Surj: My luggage Titan (always need a good change of underwear), my cell phone (gotta stay in touch with the world) and my laptop (need to draw up the contracts).
Nindy: My son! My husband! Wet wipes to clean the microphone!
You've done breeding Actors like Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani. If you could pick three people would you do to play, who would it be?
Kuly: I love to compose for Amir Khan, Shah Rukh or maybe even Mr. AB.
Manji: I live to make playing Abhishek, Shahrukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor.
Surj: Everyone from Hollywood to Bollywood.
Nindy: Oh, that's a tough question! I'd love to sing playback Katrina, Bipasha and Priyanka!
2009 has been successful, but nothing for you. Let's start with 'Aloo Chaat. When and how did you go to the movie? What were your initial thoughts?
Kuly: I thought, "How the hell can you make Aloo chaat street credible" lol … worked well though!
Manji: We met Faffy IFFA in 2007 and he asked us to sit in your room for a quick chat, only to discover that he is a huge fan RDB. Then we show some tracks that one was a hit that did for our album, we knew it would become a super hit Aloo Chaat.
Surj: It's great as the actors themselves become involved in the first place when it came to music and then it filters the producers and directors.
Nindy: Well (laughing), the boys wanted to add some female vocals to the track and since I was doing was a Boliyan obvious that I would put that song too. It was fun though because we shot is also very nice video and the song was hyped in the promos of the film too.
As you decides to put off the track Aloo Chaat the way you did?
Kuly: Actually, the voice tab and put down on layouts plane back to Bangkok! That's how fast we like to work:)
Manji: Was solid in the first place because as you say "aloo chaat" in a song without sounding silly?! Then, hit his head and left with a Hip-Hop, Lil John, style singing. As everyone know … with a voice like Lil Johns, he can say anything and looks good!
Surj: It's a track that we feel justifies the original title of "Aloo Chaat". He also worked so well for the promotion of the film.
Nindy: You have five creative minds (Including my pride father, who writes all our hits in Bollywood) … someone is bound to come up with something. It was really funny … they gave us the concept of "Aloo chaat" really now how do you think of a song and music for this? But once again … was possible with the great minds!
The next big thing in 2009 was' Om Mangalam. Tell us about working in this band and concept.
Kuly: Logo Akki who gave us "chant Om Mangalam, beat and chord structures just the perfect fit all around. Add to that the" I do not love "tag line and it was perfect.
Manji: Akshay is basically brought the concept of set, as he told us the story line and then gave us hookline "Om Managalam. From there, he took it out and see his father … father just summed up the whole movie in three verses! We lay down the beats and ready!
Surj: Breaking boundaries of all faiths.
Nindy: The song was fun! I loved when we did the recording sessions. And the promo video was shot so much fun! I think everyone fro m Akshay Kareena to enjoy this song.
"De Dana Dan has been a super hit and it helped that the soundtrack was killer too! Tell us a little about the paisa music (which is one of my favorite all time) and how he ended up being selected for this film.
Kuly: simply another mixture of a concept of great music and a great call by Akki have it on film.
Manji: It really is an old Punjabi song we did for the singer Manak-E and Aki liked so much he used to when he would be booked. It was only a matter of time when he would like to see in a movie. Thus, redid the track and I'm adding some UMMMFF Manak-E to return to sing it in Hindi. It fits the film and the scene perfect.
Surj: It almost felt like the movie was created around this track, and not vice versa!
Nindy: As per usual Aki RDB hear music in your car day in and day out … had a taste for Paisa Paisa and now in his "De Dana Dan '(laughs).
Now the most important thing of 2009 was its performance in receipt Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's marriage. It was the most talked about event. How were all invited to accomplish and what was the experience?
Manji: We received a call from the brother of Raj Kundra in the UK, who invited us to formally the occasion, so we were so happy when they also asked us to do to improve the night. We did what we had to do and assured that Shilpa Raj and were on their feet dancing stage actually Raj was taken from his feet and took over the stage!
Surj: It was fun; Shilpa loves to dance so when we dedicate a track, she threw off her shoes and danced her heart out.
Nindy: Shilpa The experience was great … was beautiful as always. Everyone was very hospitable and they rocked the night away with our performances!
Nindy you looked beyond amazing that night and tell us you were wearing.
Nindy: Tirusha Thanks so much! I was lengh wearing a red and black from Mumbai by Kimaya. They have some amazing stuff! I go crazy buying in Mumbai … keep me away !!!!!
With Based on the pictures, it looks like you made some new friends in B'wood! Tell us who else you met?
Manji: There too many to list that night and we were invited as well as artists who mixed and had a great night talking to them all.
Surj: Everyone was a great pleasure to meet, some more than others.
Nindy: Sameera Reddy was a doll, we became good friends now! Above all, I should mention that I found a great friend / brother, Kiran Bawa whose ROCKS Mumbai businessman and owner of Iosis Medi Spa & Bawa Hotels … it!
It has been quite the year! So to change it a little time for a random question, I had to play it there for fun. As the saying goes, you are what you eat. So if you could be a vegetable for a day, what would you be and why?
Kuly: I would to be a vegetable purslane, apparently as rare plants in the world!
Manji: Celery, because no matter how much you eat, you will only gain weight.
Surj: Tomato, because its only plant that grows on trees in the air, rather than deep in the ground!
Nindy: Spinach Saag (laughter) because it is the favorite Manji!
See, that was not fun! What advice would you give to those who want to pursue a career in music?
Kuly: Never think you have reached the top, because if you think you have, there's only one way to go … Let your work do the talking.
Manji: Just do not give up and try increasingly difficult to make good music. Remember that it will not happen overnight, it took us 14 years to hang in there, because its going be a bumpy ride.
Surj: Meet the people in the industry and work together, not against each other. And know your Business!
Nindy: Believe in yourself and you will achieve all the dreams and succeed in life.
Then there some secret that can be said?! What's in store for 2010 with RDB and Nindy Kaur?
Kuly: As always, we did not try everything we do for large before we have done that … when the time is right .. you will see:)
Manji: Great stuff with more movies, more videos, the new album "Around the world," and maybe another kid … haha!
Surj: More music, videos, albums, all with a single touch!
Nindy: (Laughs) Who Manji have another child?!
Oh man, do I start? (Laughter) All right guys, then you have any final word to all your fans and our readers?
Kuly: Honestly, we love you all … without their support … we're just one family … With your support … We RDB!
Manji: Thanks for all the support and keep pushing us to make the best music for you.
Surj: Respect to all the girls n guys like us would be nothing without you. See you all soon.
Nindy: Thank you all for all the support. Believe me, you'll love the new sounds in 2010 and can not wait to see it in all of our shows much love to all!
