How is an electric based hero defeat a villain based on rubber?

I'm writing a story, and my character has the ability to control, manipulate and produce electricity lightning /. If you are going through the 4th grade, then you would know that the rubber does not lead to electricity, the archenemy of my hero is made of rubber, and has basically all the same powers as Mr. Fantastic. So, anyone have any idea how my hero able to defeat the villain?

– A common way to defeat villains rubber base is making it tied with his own body. Then, with so you do not even need electricity. – Another way is to stab the man rubber with a metal object, then run electricity through this object. – Or hit the rubber man with a powerful beam of electricity will travel through the air, but air does not conduct electricity. – Make the man rubber wet then electrocute him.
