How to properly install an audio codec for iMac OS X?
I'm having trouble getting the sound to a downloaded movie (all the other movies I've downloaded 4 works seamlessly with installed audio devices). All comments for this download in particular, the audio for this file is a great sound (So apparently I'm the one with the problem). From what I read, it seems that may be missing an audio codec, but when I try to download any audio codec, the file appears in my download folder, I click on it, and then I get an error message that reads, "Quicktime can not open because this is not a movie file. "I know that codecs are not movie files," but what I select to install the codec? I'm new to Mac (although I'll say it – quality is amazing in my Mac, so I do not want to even try with my PC). Thanks in advance for your input.
Most things like that should have instructions.
