Fans Flock to High School Musical 2 Premiere in London
How High School Musical 2 premiered O2 Arena in London, thousands of fans have fallen at the party with the stars while watching the much anticipated second installment of the Disney made for TV movie hit. Fans were ready and dressed in cheerleader outfits complete with red pom-poms for the premiere of the film. To increase the excitement, the stars of TV Music were also set to appear on the site, including Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, for whom fans waited patiently for over an hour.
Despite her instant fame, a number of members of High School Musical cast managed to stay grounded, and still in shock how the fans were devoted to production.
Hudgens, who was popularized by its Gabriella Montez, considers "sort of madness."
"It's overwhelming sometimes but it's great to be here," admitted actress 18 years old. "I would like to tell my fans that they should never give up their dreams."
In addition, Lucas Grabeel, who plays Ryan Evans, said: "It's crazy and a bit annoying to be honest." The actor of 22 years, he recalled his last visit to the O2 stage for a Prince concert where did the audience.
"I was there as a fan and I felt that all these people feel being here now is fantastic and so great for part of, "Grabeel said.
Additionally, Monique Coleman, 26, believes she is still the same girl "regular" before she was to become actress she is known today.
"I'm just me, I wake up every morning and brush your teeth, for me it's really about the fans and this moment which changes their lives, "said Coleman. She said that aspiring actors and actresses should focus on the real goal and work hard to achieve it.
"You have to realize being a celebrity is not a career choice. You have to do something specific, do not just go out there trying to be a celebrity because you can take your clothes to do it, "she explained." This is not how we got here. "
High School Musical 2 premiere on Disney Channel in the UK on September 21.
