How can I find a new home for my pet rat in Maryland?

I realized I made a mistake in getting a pet rat with a 4 year old in the house. He is a fantastic mouse, but 4 years old plays too rough with him and his claws (which have been trimmed by veterinarian) to continue giving my son serious cuts, not just the occasional scratch I get when it goes up my bare arm. He needs to go to a good home!

You could try posting on Craigslist, just make sure to remove those seeking free / cheap food charges. There are also some rescues on site that helps.
