How To Get Started with raw food when you have not got a clue!
If you're new to raw foods you may have noticed that despite already there are hundreds if not thousands of raw food web sites on the Internet, which seems to be missing is real basic nuts and bolts Info on obtaining the course of an early erect. However, many times the books and websites on the bounce in step two or three (food or equipment) before setting the context in which the raw food needs to be placed, or explain how to get going, when nearly everything is fresh raw food. 1. Understand what all the fuss is about. The concept of eating raw foods is not new by any means, but gained much more popularity in recent times because of its unquestionable benefits for health, energy and vitality in general, as well as its ability to basically make us look and feel much better than it did before. As old as time itself, raw food was, of course, what he ate before fire was discovered (we must have done OK for get to this point) and, more recently, thanks to the efforts of pioneering authors such as health researcher Leslie Kenton and others outside the UK, who bravely waved the flag for raw foods in the 1980s and beyond, we are in a time when raw food is no longer seen as the domain of extreme health "Fanatics", but happily, making their way into the media, celebrity diets, healing centers and retreats, a growing number of health books and nutrition, products and seminars, and presents a more significant in supermarkets, health food stores and more. And not a moment before time - because when you look at it up close and personal, it really makes a lot of sense ...
2. So why raw? While I am the first to admit that the word "materials" is not inspiring, if you can go beyond that and see that the press is the same pure, fresh, vibrant, rich in enzymes, oxygen-rich, unadulterated, nutrition, living organic whole, then we are all on the same page! But before arriving at exactly the whys and prevent us from falling into the common trap of seeing raw food, somehow "less" cooked, let's take a moment to look at what the food is cooked, exactly.
Cooked food: Natural foods that have been processed and / or heated to high temperatures occurred where chemical changes and the food was changed from its original state to something that, depending on the severity of their treatment, may end up looking like a pale shadow of its former self (think spinach cooked and raw!). As the cooked food can certainly tantalize the taste buds, is largely because of its stimulating effects on the body - in fact - indeed, not "understand" much of which is taken as in many of the chemicals in cooked foods are unnatural and therefore, the body sees them as bodies strange! In fact research, fascinating in 1930 showed that when one eats cooked food, without having eaten raw foods first, the body sends blood cells whites (which combats the toxins) for the digestive system to deal with the perceived "invader." Interesting, eh? And although, yes, we can infer from this nutritional fractured, denatured "food", a time to cook our food or buy something pre-prepared and cooked in the can, box or bag we lose up to 70% of the vitamins, some minerals, all the enzymes, all the oxygen, the plant hormones important to feel good and a high percentage of water - All we need to reward us with health really vibrant. Raw food is full of contrast for all that he allowed to germinate and grow in the first place - the life force, enzymes, water, oxygen, hormones, vitamins and minerals and more. No hidden ingredient, messed around with anything, just pure delicious fresh food to live that are designed to eat - live food for living bodies. And the good news for you is this: when you start playing with more raw foods, not just understand it conceptually, you really start to pick up experimentally as your body cheers whole moves up a gear and the concept that real food and nutrition is really about takes a whole new meaning.
3. What are raw foods? To give you a brief overview of what raw food means in real terms, here's a list of the 20 + ingredients other food groups: fruits fresh vegetables, salad vegetables, green leafy vegetables, herbs and wild greens, nuts, dried fruits, beans and legumes (sprouted) grains (sprouted) seeds, sprouted seeds, vegetables inside, vegetable seeds (sprouted), edible flowers, mushrooms, sea vegetables, algae, oils, stimulants (eg, pepper, ginger, onion), spices, Super foods, flavors and natural sweeteners (eg, honey, carob stevia,). A little more variety than perhaps you first thought? Rather than being limiting, I found that 99 times out of 100 raw foods expand culinary horizons of a person - and if you get a cookbook raw food and Raw Food, Real World (one of my personal favorite), I promise you will be amazed with what can be achieved - "hamburgers" pizzas, live milk, cream, cakes, biscuits, vitamins, soups, gravies and sauces, lasagna, wraps, crackers and much more is possible when you know you're doing - we're talking now, right?
4. Getting Started. A very common myth, but I'm really interested in new bust is that eating raw has a lot of time and energy to prepare. Wrong! I am quite possibly the busiest person I know and one of the many reasons I choose to eat raw is because when done correctly is actually the fastest of the foods on the planet. Introduction and keep it doable is easy when you adopt approach to pure and simple: all raw foods, prepared quickly, simple foods and you should only eat the foods you love! This should always be fun, easy and delicious - that's rule number one! Surprisingly for new raw foods, the discovery process that raw food is really all about a journey without end - the kind Travel everyone I ever met wanted to have undertaken earlier. So do not expect to be sick, overweight or lethargic before starting to tend to food needs of your body (like I did) - start your journey exciting and rewarding for pastures new today! These first steps I'm about to outline are very simple but will make a huge difference - and, better yet, anyone can do it!
First, try your best to eat fresh fruit or a dairy-free smoothie for breakfast every day instead of his usual toast, cereal and coffee. Eat or drink as much as you want (raw material), but keep it clean. What you eat first prepares you for the day - so make sure you go out on high-energy, revitalizing foods instead of bread charred, lifeless grain sugar-coated or caffeine-laden drinks hot! For lunch and dinner, this is easy. If you can make at least half of your plate composed of foods fresh and alive (salads, nuts, seeds, sprouted seeds, beans or any of the foods mentioned in paragraph 3 above - but not all of them!) then you will be doing fantastically well and usually start to feel the difference in days (look forward to more energy, better sleep, clearer thinking and clear skin). Improve your results further by drinking as much water as pure as possible, eat only when hungry and not full only, and keep the rest of their food as a whole and pure as possible (no e-numbers or hydrogenated fats and so on) and you will feel the benefits of all others. In addition, raw foods you choose, make sure that most of them are fruits and vegetables as these are the most nutritious and higher in water content. Handfuls of nuts just do not work the same way - they are very dense and fatty, but in small quantities, are very good for you. If you can put most or all of the above into practice, then you'll be amazed at the difference!
5. What you need and where to get it. Raw cookbooks tend to focus the more complicated dishes and foods, therefore, often flamboyant and equipment are used as part of building revenue - but not discouraged, preparation raw food need not be complicated or expensive! Although by no means imperative that you have every kitchen gadget will really help themselves, at least a mixer board, a cheap juicer and a basic food processor - you can buy for less? 100 or even cheaper if you visit eBay, but if the budget is a problem, then a good sharp knife you will have a long road to freedom! However, with the three items listed will open new and exciting views for you, and if and when the time seems right to invest in something more durable and powerful, then you'll be amazed at what is available within the health now. As for food, I personally think I can get more than I need in the organic section in my local supermarket, and also visit a farm shop organic / local farmer's market is really good for things that no supermarket can compete with price or quality. If I have a good supermarket, then I opt for a box of organic delivery service that can be wonderful. Most of my specialty items, such as truly raw olives (most are pasteurized) nut "butters" (they are just made of pure peanut, but spread like butter), natural sweeteners and flavors that I buy by mail order. But what I do need to emphasize, if you have not already cottoned to the importance of choosing organic - pesticides are not a healthy option, even if they are on raw food!
6. How to keep it interesting. When you are new to raw food is easy to assume as salads, soups and ice cream is as good as it gets when you're watching the clock. While it is true that revenue more elaborate, often have more time and energy, there are always short cuts and whipping up a delicious sauce dip or even a nut "cheese" or veggie pate literally takes seconds and can totally transform a meal! When you've tasted a pizza food and raw materials fabulous ice cream (no milk, no added sugar white), not There really is no going back!
7. What about eating out? This is one of the most common questions asked - and the answer is - it is completely to you. You can choose to eat "normally" to make healthier choices than usual or to request a juicy salad with all kinds of things thrown in, but above all, enjoy what you eat and feel at peace with it!
8. It has to be all or nothing? Not at all. Until very recent times that very few people ate a diet of only raw foods in progress. In fact most people still dabble for weeks, months or even years at a time until they feel inclined to "before the"! Furthermore, today people tend to speak in percentage terms - like "I'm 80% raw" which basically means that they eat most of the raw food, but not all of it, and they are assuming that 80% is about right in terms of space / plate meal-up do so - but not really important. What matters most is the quality of food you choose - if 80% of a person's diet consists of nuts, seeds and raw food snack bars, then it will never be a good thing (way too much fat!), while 80% worth of fruits and vegetables is wonderful! What also matters is not only what you bring into your diet, but what you leave out. Not very good to eat fresh food vibrant if you "balance" with take-out and always full of aspartame diet drinks! Much better than 50/50 to make and do all your good healthy food, and then if you want to adjust the proportion raw food, then you can do it anytime. All that said, the more raw food you eat, most people at least (those with problems Doctors need to take professional advice), the better you will look and feel - and here's why.
9. What you can expect. When you choose materials, as we have seen, you choose "life." Live food will nourish you on a deep level (deeper than any deep pan pizza will never arrive!) and it will also start working its magic on your body in a very short space of time. That magic sometimes does not seem so magical away! Because, as the toxins and debris begin to let your body like raw food begins to clean your system, you may have some symptoms of detoxification, as diarrhea, rashes, pimples (spots), headaches, dizziness, cough and phlegm and other similar discomforts. This is usually nothing to worry about, but can happen! If this occurs, keep drinking plenty of water and eat more simply to speed up the process of elimination until your circumstances permit. But if you feel like everything is going a bit too fast for you, so if you eat something cooked, especially something heavy, like meat, potatoes or milk, then you will slow it all down or even stop completely. You can restart again more slowly or leave it for a few days or weeks and again when the time feels right. On the flipside, the good news is that when this stuff comes, it means that your body - of course - all the better for it and it will start to become evident in her face, her body shape and tone the body and their energy levels with surprising rapidity. And if you continue the good work to any degree for more than a few weeks, then you will find it very hard to get back to his old form, because there really is not much fun to be had there.
