Fantastic 4 Forums

trip to Italy is realistic?
This forum is fantastic. I'd like to get your opinion on where I can / should cut my trip like this will be my first time in Europe. I'll be flying into Venice and Rome. The plan is to Venice -> Milan -> Cinque Terre -> Pisa -> Florence -> Rome. With all the things to do in each city, this schedule can be a bit ambitious and will experience its guidance! will buy a ticket for an Italy Pass (http://www.eurail.com) will be sufficient? any other recommendation site? I will travel alone to the mobility and flexiblility not be much a concern. Of the cities mentioned, what would you recommend go / no go? This will all be within four days, I played in Pisa just to check the leaning tower, since it is the way to Cinque Terre -> Florence, Milan (I could jump in and change things) Thanks in advance!
"This madness is very very sad too …" (Neil Young), Italy is to be savored, not dashed by American as a lunatic. Land In Venice and breathe in its wonders and magic and then decide if you want to enjoy where you are or go traipsing here, there and everywhere. You do NOT needs a Eurail Pass, a total waste of money. Pay as you go. If you want to go to Venice, hop on the train to Florence and then it depends who you are and what matters to you, go to Rome takes intensity and wild drivers, etc. Going to the Cinque Terre means to relax on the nature and relax. Choose one or another. Both are magnificent in very different ways. Four days is not a time to cover a country. This can be done, but you will have spent on trains.
