In almost all of the battles with the Hulk and Wolverine he lost and he did not even give them a good fight.Atleast Human Torch can fly and burn people and Reed is smart enough to come up with a plan to win a competition. Heck I bet Ben would not beat most of his teammates in a fight because they have more power and it is just muscle. What do you think? Ben is not overrated. It's the rest of the Marvel Universe that is overrated. Really. First, you have a good point about the rest of the team to be able to win BEN. Soon after, the world was created for the Hulk. As the stories were written these days, none of the characters had the MU "Earth Moving" characters who can now possess. That was the thing that separated the MU DCU. While Superman was head and shoulders over the rest of the DC Universe, the Marvel Heroes were all within range of each of the other powers. What this means is that there was no significant difference between levels of power. Did you know Hulk was stronger than anything. That is what made his fights interesting. You always felt that the thing might have a chance to win. Same after years of creation, when it became clear that HULK always win a slug fest, it really boiled down to them fighting for a period of time before tiring and the thing HULK. But as time progressed, Hulk was written to levels increasingly ridiculous. As a pre-Crisis Superman, Hulk power doubled every writer to another level more ridiculous.
